Can a current or prospective homeowner or buyers in San Diego expect to be living in single-family neighborhoods? Not necessarily with the new laws in the state and San Diego that now allow for “granny flats” construction and can allow for six to eight unit Auxiliary Dwelling Units (ADUs) on a single family lot—with no stipulation for required parking spaces. Come listen to Paul Krueger, retired TV news reporter and community activist, is our Lions speaker for the March 28 evening meeting talk about this new law and construction allowances .Krueger has reported for Time, Fortune and Money magazines, the Union-Tribune and Reader newspapers and lastly Channel 7/39, SD’s NBC affiliate. He is now a core member of Neighbors for a Better San Diego, founded in 2021. If you care at all about your single-family neighborhood, do not miss this one!

Paul also helps consumers and taxpayers resolve problems with businesses and public agencies. He has decades of experience settling disputes between neighbors and community groups. Paul’s colleagues often seek his help in researching and writing their own stories, making use of his institutional knowledge and experience to get fast accurate information.
