100 Year Anniversary Gala Sponsorship

All proceeds for the Gala will be used to fund the

Downtown San Diego Lions Club Scholarship Program or Lions Camp Jack.

Scholarship Program

The Downtown San Diego Lions Club provides scholarships for local students to pursue post-high school education at a College, Community College, or Vocational School.

These scholarships are awarded to local students graduating from Hoover, Garfield, Kearny, Lincoln, Monarch, Touissant, Twain, Gompers, and San Diego High Schools.

Scholarships are awarded based on merit, financial need, and demonstrated community service.

Lions Camp Jack

Provides a summer outdoor experience for San Diego’s at-risk youth that provides a safe, fun-filled week vacation away from their regular surroundings that build relationships, bolsters ethical values, and instills community responsibility.

Campers are between the ages of 9 and 12 years old - young enough to be influenced to make better decisions about their lives.

Each Camper attends Camp Jack for free and participates in activities such as Archery, Arts and Crafts, Swimming, Boating, and Hiking.
